About our Criminology major
Our program in criminology and psychology is specifically designed for those students who are finishing their degrees in other majors. It is based on an evidence-based approach to solving crimes. Taking this course will give the students more career options and opportunities for growth. After the program, all the students will gain a bunch of skills, including critical and creative thinking, effective communication, and reasonable usage of their knowledge.
During the program, the students will study the various theories of crime and focus on the psychological aspects of criminals’ behaviour as well as what environmental factors can affect people to commit crimes. Having deep knowledge about all these things will help our students conduct effective investigations and prevent possible crimes in the future. The program also covers international and transnational crime, as well as the relationship between law and psychology. As time passes, all the students will become proficient in oral and written arguments and will master their research skills.
