Spotlight Talk: Recruiting and retaining volunteers

Key lessons included:

  • Be ambitious and seek to recruit volunteers with diverse skills through platforms like Reach Volunteering
  • Break down tasks into smaller chunks to make volunteering more approachable for volunteers and impactful

Spotlight Talk: Approaching AI

We share a brief presentation on how AI works. As well as the ethical and environmental considerations, and resources to get started using AI. The panellists shared their motivations for using AI, how it’s supporting their work and how they have overcame AI-related challenges
